Pediatric ultrasound is different to adult ultrasound in all respects. The equipment chosen for pediatric work has different requirments, the technique of scanning is different, the normal anatomy changes throughout childhood and the pathology encountered in childhood are unique to children. This book addresses the 'how', 'why' and 'when' of pediatric ultrasound. Each chapter begins with the 'how': how to scan and what special techniques or tricks to use when scanning children. The 'why' and 'when' discuss the pathology and use of other imaging modalities - an essential skill in pediatric radiology where the limitation of both radiation exposure and number of examinations is of paramount importance. Edited by Rose de Bruyn, MBBCh, DMRD, FRCR, Consultant Paediatric Radiologist, Radiology Department, Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Trust, London, UK

Book condition
An important factor of a second-hand book is the condition of the book. The buyer may not be surprised. Always mention damages or defects. We use a system with 3 stars:
The book is acceptable: you have used it to study and made notes and markings – but everything is still readable. The cover and pages are in good condition.
The book still looks good: there are a few notes in it and you marked it. There are hardly any signs of use on the cover and pages
The book is (almost) new: you have not written or marked in it. There are no signs of use on the cover and pages
